Esteemed Colleagues, Dear Friends,
With deep respect and gratitude for the legacy of our sport and our community, I am honoured to present myself as a candidate for the Presidency of the FEI.
For 33 years, I have dedicated myself to strengthening equestrian sport focusing on improving communication with our stakeholders, building a versatile and forward-thinking team at HQ to manage sport -our core business-, improving welfare standards for our equine and human athletes and ensuring equal service to our members, the National Federations.
I have witnessed, and been part of, the extraordinary transformation of our Sport Organisation over many decades. In times of challenge, I have acted decisively, with a consultative and pragmatic approach, never shying away from responsibility.
I have been privileged to work directly with three strategic and visionary FEI Presidents. If elected, I will honour and protect the strong traditions and foundations that have been built, while driving collaborative transformation and strengthening the trust that ensures the FEI remains a world-class service organisation that places our horses, our athletes and our sport at the heart of everything we do.
We live in a world of rapid economic, technological, and social change and equestrian sport is evolving alongside it. To remain at the forefront, we must be agile, proactive and responsive to these shifts whilst respecting and preserving our unique heritage and never losing sight of what makes our sport so special.
The role of an International Federation President has also transformed over the years. It now demands accountable, committed and executive leadership to navigate Olympic governance, financial sustainability, and strategic partnerships. The international sports landscape calls for a leader with experience, credibility, and global connections.
In addition to my decades of governance experience within equestrian sport, I have served in leadership positions across the broader sports movement as:
Founding President of the Association of Paralympic Sports Organisations (APSO)
Member of the International Paralympic Committee’s (IPC) Governance Task Force
Chair of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) Gender & Diversity Commission
Member of the IOC Gender & Diversity Working Group
Member of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Signatory Expert Group.
Through these roles, I have further proven my commitment to service, collaboration, and achieving meaningful results while building strong relationships across the international sporting community. They have prepared me to lead the FEI with integrity, strategic vision, and a clear sense of purpose.
My Mission
My mission as FEI President will be to champion our sport, protect its legacy, and ensure that the FEI remains a responsive, athlete-first (equine and human) organisation. A Sport organisation that embraces innovation, supports all stakeholders, and unites our global community.
Grounded in the FEI's 2025-2029 Strategic Plan and the comprehensive Equine Welfare Strategy action plan, my tenure will focus on reinforcing these established objectives while actively pursuing strategic imperatives and actions to equip our sport for the future.
United in every stride
I believe the future of our sport is full of opportunity, and that we will realise it best by moving forward together. The priorities and actions set out in my Manifesto reflect the direction I will pursue if elected President of the FEI, alongside the continued implementation of the Equine Welfare Action Plan and the FEI Strategic Plan.
I am committed to working hand in hand with our National Federations, Regional Groups, Continental Associations and stakeholders across our community, united by a shared purpose: to seize every opportunity, address what matters most, and build a stronger future for our sport for generations to come.
